TLSI INTRODUCES FAMILY OF LVPECL & LVDS OUTPUT CLOCK FANOUT BUFFERS

New Additions to TLSI's Growing Family of Standard Interface Products

HUNTINGTON, N.Y. - November 6, 2003 - Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Griffon Corporation (NYSE: GFF), announced today its integrated circuit ('IC') subsidiary, TLSI Inc., has introduced its new family of LVPECL and LVDS output clock fanout buffers. The T853xxx/854xxx families feature 3.3-volt operation, wide operating frequency, low propagation delays and low power supply current drain over the full operating temperature range from 0oC to +70oC. Most importantly, these buffers also feature guaranteed output clock skew and guaranteed part-to-part skew. They are pin-for-pin compatible with the popular ICS853x/854x family of products.

The T8530 and T853001 are available in an industry standard 48-pin, LQFP package (7mm x 7mm x 1.4mm). The T8535 and T8545 families are available in an industry standard 20-pin, TSSOP package (4.4mm x 6.5mm x 0.92mm). These high-performance LVPECL and LVDS output clock fanout buffers are ideal for those clock distribution applications that demand well-defined performance and repeatability such as that required in telecommunications, networking and computing systems.

Availability:
Sample quantities of the T853xxx/T854xxx families are available now. Production quantities will be available in December, 2003 and are priced starting as low as $2.35 in 10,000 pc. quantities (T853501). For higher volumes and for pricing on other devices consult the factory.
